ENGLAND (9)
We have to be one of the favourites. We have a superb manager and great players. Hopefully there will be no more quarter final heartbreak. One other thing, if FIFA's rankings are accurate then we should go out at the second round! I doubt that's going to be the case though. I mean with Gerrard, Lampard, Terry and Rooney how could we not be favourites? We need to sort out our goalkeeper situation though. Prediction: Semi finals
USA (13)
Are better then most people think and have a good FIFA ranking. They have a good manager and some good players. They have also beaten Spain in the Confederations Cup Semi Final and caused Brazil some worry in the final. With Donovan, Howard and Dempsey they should be feared. Prediction: 2nd round
Algeria (28)
Have a fairly average side who beat Egypt to qualify. Really, we shouldn't fear them. They've got two Portsmouth players (Belhadj and Yebda). Prediction: 1st round
Slovenia (33)
Are the smallest nation at the World Cup and are spirited. Their best player plays for WBA and is called Robert Koren. Prediction: 1st round.
