Birmingham 2:1 Blackburn
Bolton 3:1 West Ham
Man-u 3:0 Wolves
Aston Villa 2:0 Sunderland
There were no major surprises with these results. I hate to say this but the new owner of Birmingham might just know what he was doing after all. If anybody said to me at the start of the season that Liverpool would be 3 points behind Birmingham 16 games into the season I would have laughed. At the beginning of the season their aim was to avoid relegation but now they find themselves hoping to qualify for Europe! West Ham's survival hopes are looking bad. Not only have they been beaten by Bolton but now Dyer is injured (again). Man-U beat a virtual reserve Wolves team after Mcarthy rested a load of players. It's so cynical 'we're not going to beat you so we're going to play our worst side na na na'. If Wolves lose to Burnley on Saturday I hope their manager gets the sack. I wouldn't be too surprised if the FA did something about it. Aston Villa are serious contenders for a top 4 place with another good win. They are in cracking form!Europa League predictions

Prem predictions:
Burnley 1:3 Arsenal
Chelsea 2:0 Portsmouth
Liverpool 1:1 Wigan
Tottenham 2:2 Man-city
Some interesting Prem encounters now. Arsenal vs Burnley. Chelsea are hoping to end their bad run and not concede any goals. Liverpool vs Wigan is an interesting battle. Wigan have had moments of genius (such as beating Chelsea) and moments of complete and utter madness (such as losing 9-1 to Tottenham). It all depends on which Wigan will turn up. The two pretenders meet in Tottenham and Man-City. Both these teams have good chances of getting into the top 4 and the encounter will be interesting
