Why was Megson sacked? The answer is because of the moaning of the Bolton fans who hated him for no good reason. He took over in 2007 and has done oksy as manager yet the fans hated him. The last straw was when he drew 2-2 with Hull after surrendering a 2-0 lead. The chairman was bullied into sacking him.

The new job could go to Alan Shearer, Darren Ferguson or Stoke No.2 Peter Reid. Darren Ferguson would be my appointment because of a unique prospect of Fergie vs Fergie in Prem matches.
