The Handshake:

Never before has a greeting (or rather lack of a greeting) been so eagerly awaited by football fans everywhere. It basically all boils down to this: Wayne Bridge didn't greet John Terry as you normally would in a football match. Anyone who cares (apart from Hello! and OK!) needs to get a life. Far more intresting was Terry's performance in the match which was downright awful. Chelsea have now dropped vital ponts in the title race.

Rooney, can you stop him?
Quite frankly no. The young maestro is at the top of his game right now and without him, Manchester United would probably be 4th. He has replaced Ronaldo perfectly and, unless he gets an injury (God forbid) then he will be the Prem's highest goalscorer. Woohoo!
Jesus comes on top against Prince Charles and David Beckham loses to his old team:
Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan got the better of Chelsea in the first leg of the Champions League's last 16 Milito opened the scoring, Kalou equalised but then Cambassio scored a late winner. Meanwhile, Rooney popped up twice to score against AC Milan in a 3-2 victory. There's set to be a very intresting second leg.
By the way, this is my 100th post. Woohoo!

Rio Ferdinand, we're all behind you (but the media are following every move you make):
Rio Ferdinand is the new captain of England after John Terry had a brief meeting with Fabio Capello and was stripped of the England captaincy. Rio Ferdinand, his partner in defence is the new captain, while Gerrard is the vice captain. Rooney is presumably the number 3.

Above are the transfers for Febuary and January. This was probably the most boring transfer window ever but here are your top 10 January transfers:

10:Danny Welbeck: Man-U to Preston loan
In a normal window this wouldn't even make it into the top 20 but I'm desperate. A great young striker with bags of potential will move to Darren Ferguson's Preston.
9: Jack Wilshere: Arsenal to Bolton loan
You can already see Owen Coyle starting to try and make Bolton less into a side who can only kick people
8: Amr Zaki: Zamalek to Hull loan
Congratulations Phil Brown. You have increased your crazy manager CV by signing one of the worst professionals in the history of the game.
7: Victor Moses: Crystal Palace to Wigan around £2.5 million
A great young player gotten for a cheap price tag, should shine.
6: Maxi Rodriguez: Atletico Madrid to Liverpool free
A good Spanish player signed for a very good price
5: Sol Campell: - to Arsenal free
GRANDAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4:Patrick Vieira
ditto
3: Chris Smalling: Fulham to Man-U about £14 millon
Small by name, small by nature. It puts the transfer window to shame as this was the biggest signing
2: Robbie Keane: Tottenham to Celtic loan
Quite frankly, he is an over-rated player who hops clubs regularily. He had exactly the same line when he went to Celtic as when he went to Liverpool 'I've always supported Celtic'. Yeah, like you have with Tottenham, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Wolves and many others.
1: Adam Johnson: Middlesborough to Man-City £8 million
A great young England hopeful, it looks like he will shine.
p.s. Sorry I havn't posted in ages. I've been on holiday.
John Terry:
This is the moral issue that everybody seems to be split on, should John Terry be the captain of England or shold he no? I, personally hope that he does get kicked out (although knowing the FA he'll get away with a serious warning like he has done for the past 5 times) I think that Ferdinand or Beckham or even Gerrard would be a better candinate for the England captain. There is a limit to what you can do and footballers need to learn that they are not gods. Terry should never have been given the England role and I hope it will be taken away from him.
