In the Carling Cup Semi finals:
Man-U vs Man-City
Blackburn vs Aston Villa
A surprising night when 2 of the 'top 4 teams' went out of the Cup, leaving it wide open. There is now only 1 'top 4' team remaining and that's Man-U. In two suprise results Man-City thrashed Arsenal's kids and Blackburn beat Chelsea on penalties.

Man-U 2:0 Tottenham
Aston Villa 4:2 Portsmouth
Sorry, I forgot to make predictions for these matches but anyway. Man-U and Aston Villa are through to the League Cup Semi finals while Man-City vs Arsenal and Chelsea vs Blackburn is today. Darren Gibson scored 2 long range efforts in an otherwise dull match.
Predictions:
Man-City 2:2 Arsenal. Arsenal through on penalties
Chelsea 3:0 Blackburn
The Republic of Ireland have asked FIFA to be the 33rd team at the world cup. They were knocked out in the play-offs due to a handball by Henry. When Sepp Blatter (the FIFA president) was told about this, he laughed at Ireland. This is just cruel. Ireland have been robbed and all FIFA can do is laugh at them. The only FIFA men with importance that I respect are Platini and Beckenbaur. With Blatter, football is becoming a politician's game.
